These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Batva (the "Service"), a portfolio-tracking application owned and operated by Vasmaan Fintech Pvt. Ltd. ("Vasmaan", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
You must be at least 18 years old and capable of forming a binding contract under Indian law to use the Service. By using it, you represent that you meet these requirements.
Batva is a tool to record, track and view your investments (mutual funds, stocks, ETFs, PMS, fixed deposits, PPF, bonds and similar) in one place, including prices and Net Asset Values sourced from third-party providers. Equity and ETF prices are sourced from licensed third-party market-data providers, including the BSE (Bombay Stock Exchange) via our licensed market-data provider, and mutual-fund NAVs from AMFI; some values may be computed or estimated (e.g. bonds, FDs, PPF). Where a stock trades on more than one exchange, the price shown may be the BSE price and can differ from your broker's or another exchange's last-traded price.
Batva is NOT an investment advisor, broker, or financial planner. We are not registered with SEBI or any regulator as an investment adviser or research analyst. Nothing in the Service constitutes investment, financial, tax, legal or accounting advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold any security. All investment decisions are yours alone. Prices, NAVs and computed figures are provided "as is", may be delayed, incomplete, or inaccurate, and must not be relied upon for trading or valuation. Verify all figures independently.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorised use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including: attempting to access other users' data; reverse-engineering, scraping or overloading the Service; uploading unlawful content; or using it to provide regulated financial advice to third parties.
The Service, including its software, design, logos and content (excluding your own data), is owned by Vasmaan and protected by law. You retain ownership of the portfolio data you enter; you grant us a limited licence to store and process it solely to provide the Service.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vasmaan shall not be liable for any investment losses, or for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of, or reliance on, the Service or any data within it. Our total aggregate liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; data handling follows our Privacy Policy.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified via the Service or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable law, the courts at New Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
